Choosing speakers and amps
What should I be looking for when picking out my speakers and amps? I want sound quality more than volume, but all I ever hear about is watts.. Theres got to be other things to look for too right?

Takes power to overcome road noise and get the lows boosted to sound good. Most cheap amps will list high power, but RMS is the bottom line, usually about 50 watts when all is said and done. A couple decent 10" woofers in a panel over the rear storage well and a generic amp with a crossover will get you started ok. Many stereo head units now have a sub output that lets you tune the lows to your liking, good deal there. Getting serious costs money from there on.

hmm, what if nothing is said about RMS, like on pioneer's site?
and are there any sites that go over the basic stuff about sound systems so i don't have to play 50 questions on here?

pioneer amps kinda suck, some of their speakers are okay, specifically the REVs but you have to amplify them.
google.com for generic stuff.
www.sounddomain.com may be able to answer some questions aswell.
