ok guys i jsut hooked up my subs and this is my first pair of subs. when i turn them up for about 3 minutes or so i smell a sort of burning smell am i pushing them past their excursion level or do i have the power level on the amp too high its a 600watt amp and the subs are 10" 500 peak 200 rms and the amp is pushing 150 to both it doesnt seem like the amp would be over powering them. any suggestions?

 

The amp sounds about right.Does your amp have a fan?What brand is everything?
