hu and amp rca's
Hello everyone, i got a decent 4 channel amp at a realy great price.
Anyway, my head unit only has one set of rca outs, and my amp has two sets of rca in's.
Is there a way i can use all four channels of my amp with this head unit? Possibly a conversion of some sort.
Thanks,

You don't ever want to pair two outputs from a head unit to one input. It provides no benefit, and could potentially damage the output stage on the head unit.
Just use one set of the pre-outs from the head unit.

That's not true at all. You can still power 4 speakers, you just won't have an adjustable fader. You'll have to adjust the gain on the amp to dial in the rear fill. No big deal.
You can also use a 4 channel amp to power a pair of speakers, and bridge 2 channels for subs. Some people use a 4 channel amp to power a pair of mids and a pair of tweets. You could also bridge a 4 channel amp to power 2 channels.
There are plenty of configurations where a 4 channel amp can be used without needing 4 independant sound inputs. The ONLY time that 4 are necessary is if you just can't live without a fader control, which is virtually never.
