Original reciever unit

Until I stockpile some cash I am stuck with the GM factory (delco/bose I believe) that came with my '89 Trans am. Unfortunately with the numerous problems I have had, I have had to disconnect and reconnect the battery. So the stereo is on "Loc" mode. Does anyone have any info on how to unlock it. I heard that I may have to go to the dealer to have this done. But I was also told it would be something like $140 No point in that if someone here can help me out otherwise.

Thanks.
