Would this have a bad effect on my sound?

I have the bose option with the cover for the rear compartment/trunk. I was wondering, if I placed a sub down in the rear well, and it had the cover closed over it, would this be bad? Since it would seal off the compartment, would it make it sound bad, or would I not notice? I kinda thought it'd be a bad idea, but it isnt that different than the trunk of a normal car I guess...

just get a wheeling motor with a switch for the cover, when your in the car, flip the switch and BAM cover opens, or when you leave or about to flip the switch BAM cover closes. but actually i don't think it would sound to bad with the cover iits just a piece of fabric almost like material which is just hanging thereso i don't think it would distort it at all maybe a lil quieter but thats about it.

you may hear the cover vibrating if your subs displace allotta air... but if your talking sound waves... i dun think so

Right now I have 2 bags of sand, some empty garbage bags, 5 litres of oil, and some coveralls over my sub in the well, and it still booms just fine.

(btw the sub IS protected by a screen lol)
