Well, what would you take, not worrying about the amp or cost.
Maybe falsely, but I am under the impression that the ED's would be better for SQ, and the Shiva would be better for SPL. What do you guys think?

my buddy has two adire shiva 12s in his 2003 gmc full size powered by a jbl 1200.1
they POUND like a motha and sound great as well. I havent heard the ed's so my vote went for the shiva.

How's the sound quality on those Shiva's? (I've never heard them in person) I am leaning toward the ED's though for their smaller required volume, and I think 10's would have a "tighter" bass sound than a 12.
Also, what is the RMS on the Shiva's anybody know? They list Pmax on the site, is that like RMS or is that actual max?

the sound quality is awesome! He has them in sealed boxes that are about .8 cubic feet each. They are rated at 350rms i think... They sound great with a metal cd or a rap...

really, they sound good in only .8 cu ft? The way I took it from the site, they need like almost 2 cubes minimum. Well, the volume thing, and the metal comment maybe be changing my mind. I guess I'm startin to lean towards dual shivas actually.
