Started Speaker Box

I finally got around to building my speaker box. So far it is just the bottom part of the box. The top part is going to be fiberglass and I need to get the speakers home to make the speaker rings and install them so I know the angles they will be sitting inside the box so I can lay the fabric over and start fiberglassing but that might have to wait until spring since it is starting to get a little cold here. Here are the pics of the box so far.

What kind of view will you have out the back window with that in there?

I really shouldn't have too much trouble seeing out the rear window since it doesn't sit up to high and with the subs it will be a bit higher but not enough to block my view. Even if it does, I do have a rear camera installed to help with this as well

Here are the subs that will be going into the box once I get the top done. They need to be cleaned up a bit since they have been inside my other car for quite a while.

Now that I have these I can start to figure out the angle to have them in the box before I can start fiberglassing it all.

15 inch subs in the back are big enough for me. What size do you think they are?

I personally thought those were 10's. Those magnets seem very very small. Perhaps it is because I'm used to seeing 12's :-)

magnet size doesnt mean too much as far as sub performance unless they're abnormally small.

for 15s those are pretty small magnets though. are those mtx 4000s?

No they are 6000 series. I had 9 of these in my daytona and hit 154.1 dp in competition. The magnet might be small but the subs still sound good to me.

Thats kinda how my curent box looks and it doest make it hard to see out the back suprisingly, but it does make it hard to store anything large back there if you need the space

ive got two mtx 8000 15s in my cutlass. 500 rms subs have been taking 1250 rms each for about 3 months now.

sound half decent and get fairly loud...there are better subs out there but these are decent. Traded some shorty headers and exhaust for them in a box that i designed. 6.7 cubes tuned to 28 hz for the pair

These were subs that I already had and I like them. I have 7 left as spares just incase one blows.
