sub question, and box



I have read about people using the rear well as a box,,,but i dont think that will seal enought for my audiobahn flame q's

what do you gurus think?

Are u talkin about just placing a board on top and setting the subs down i there or are u wanting to make a box and then set it down i the well?

not very well at all..plates are useless

build a whole box yourself for $30 and a few hours work and it'll sound 10x better

Axle/Gears: 9 bolt w/ 3.73
That depends on a few things. Just placing a board that will fit fairly tightly over the well will give you a poor seal. If you wanted to, you could seal the top to the well using some type of sealant but you would never be able to get it apart and it still wouldn't sound as good as a real box unless you cleaned the well out to bare metal and then sealed it off.
