... or maybe you have, but this is one cool idea. I've been more worried about the front soundstage than the back I so haven't sat down and tried to figure out how to mount better speakers in the back, but this guy did. This is cool... although soundwise I'm not so sure with everything coming behind you, but cool anyways.

I would have to say...positioning that 8'' sub so close to your ears isnt such a good idea... lol.

Yeah that guy went a little overboard if you ask me. I dont know how to work fiberglass (and if I tried I know it would look like crap), but I also want fiberglass sail panels in my 91Z. There's a local sounds shop thats gonna be making all my interior fiberglass parts. Part of it will be the sail panels, but I just plan to run a set of 6.5" components in the stock location (flush), not no crazy stuff like those pics.

Kind of cool set-up and definitely imaginative, but I wouldn't do that on a daily driver!

The car as of right now is my daily driver. It will eventually be a show car when I get it all completed. The 8's in the sail panel are for the bass but not for the extreme bass. I just wanted a little extra so I can shut the 15's off and not run them all the time. Yeah I might have gone a little overboad with this project but I wanted something that noone has done before and that is the reaction I get to them when anyone sees them. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect what anyone has to say about them. I have heard people say they look awesome and others say they look like crap. I just wanted something different in my car and I am really surprised to see these brought up again by someone else. Thanks for the compliments on the panels. THey should be finished in the spring.

Sorry to bring it up again if you didn't like it, but I hadn't seen this on the boards before. Granted, I didn't search the boards because I didn't know something like this had been posted already (although I probably should have, I know better ). I stumbled upon your cardomain site one day and I thought it might give some ideas for those who build their own stuff.
