Best way to wire up

What is the best way to wire up two MTX MZS 12" subs to a Profile California AP1200 amp.
Specs:
Subs-Size------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------12"
Impedance-----------------------------------------------------------------------------4 Ohm
Frequency Response-------------------------------------------------------------29-150Hz
Power Handling---------------------------------------------300 RMS / 600 Watts Total
Sensitivity-----------------------------------------------------------------------------90.0dB
Voice Coil Size---------------------------------------------------------------------------1.8"
Magnet Weight------------------------------------------------------------------------70oz
Mounting Depth----------------------------------------------------------------------6.658"
Model Number---------------------------------------------------------------------MZS1204 U

Amp:200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
300 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
600 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms
4-ohm stable in bridged mode
stereo or bridged mono output
Tri-way capable
dual power supply for stability at high volumes
fuse rating: 25A x 3
requires 4-gauge power and ground leads
variable filters (low-pass from 50-250 Hz, high-pass from 80-1200 Hz, at 12 dB per octave)
variable bass boost (0-12 dB) at 45 Hz
preamp-level inputs (speaker-level to preamp-level adapter included)
preamp outputs

Thanx guys

Id like to think i am good enough to help so maybe do a combination of series/parallel for a 4 ohm total load to the amp.

This site has some good information on wiring and everything else. Since your speakers are 4 ohm and your amp only supports 600Wx1 @ 4 ohms, you can't wire your speakers in parallel since that would be a total of a 2 ohm x1 load, which your amp doesn't support. You can't do it in series, since that would be 8 ohm load x1 which your amp can't support. The only other thing you can do is wire them into two channels, or 200W @ 4 ohms to each speaker. That Profile amp really isn't the best, but I don't know what you listen to, so the system might be good enough for you, who knows.

If you don't like the Profile, you could try a US Acoustics amp, since they are good quality and are pretty powerful without breaking your budget. Kenwood, Alpine, RF, Kicker, and MA (along with the more "exotic" amps) are good too. Anyways, you can find good prices at theZeb.com or onlinecarstereo and they have some good discontinued stuff (last year's models, etc.) Good luck.

you can wire it to have 8 ohms... as long as you dont go below the minimum ohm rating you are fine. the output will be lessened tho
