Phoenix Gold/ Digital
alright I have two phoenix digital amps, arent these made by the same people who make the phoenix gold? I have the 1600 watt and the 1200 watt, they look like audiobahns and sound real nice so thats not really a problem. I have a kameleon head unit and all infinity mid speakers (four reference 6x9 and two 4x6) the infinity's are powered by the 1200 and I have 4 twelves in a custom box powered by the 1600. The subs are 2 polk momo and 2 orion xtr. THe orion are definitely better subs. What Im wanting to do is have all of the subs matching so I was looking for a good name to use. Yes kicker and jl sound great but I was thinkin either go all four orion, infinity reference, or phoenix gold considering they are the same as the amp maker. The systems that I have heard with all matching brands usually sound better than the mixmatched. Would 4 pg 12's sound better than 4 orion 12's? Ive read real good stuff about pg, and for the price I could resell mine pretty much and swap dead even for the 12's on etronics, they sell em for 90 bucks and retail is like 150. Let me know what yall think, thanks yall.

I've got an Orion 375 amp in my Lumina powering 2 JL 12w0's. I bought the amp off a friend for $100, seems to be a great amp. Orion makes good quality stuff.

I meant to mention also P Digital and PG arent the same. The Octane series is the lower end PG stuff....I think it goes
Octane-
Tantrum-
Titanium/Xennon-
Of course you want to take voice coils, watts, etc into consideration also.

see the people I bought the amps from said that p gold probably makes p digital like a spinoff brand made by the same maker, did yall check out the p gold subs? what do you think about em, they are the octane but they look better than the ones I have in there now, remember to keep in mind what I do have, polk momo from circuit city and two used orion xtr's how do yall think the p gold would stand up to those, I just want subs comprable to what I have cause the present ones sound fine to me, just want all to be the same brand to make it more efficient, Id love it if p gold made p digital cause those amps sound great and were verrry reasonable in price for the features, built in fans, 4 channel and 1600 watts wasnt bad for under two bills. thanks again guys.
