hey,
ok i'll tell you i am not rich.. so i cant affored they dynomat crap...
so i was thinking of buying about 5 or 6 cans of the rubberrized spray (undercoating) that keeps down the sound.Just woundering do you think it will work?i know it might not be the best but its not bad for the price $1.49 a can cant go wrong. just wanna know what you think and if you guys have done it.

rubberized undercoating is somewhat better than nothing, but not much. An inexpensive alternative to dynamat is Peel & Seal or some similar version of adhesive-backed roofing strips available in 6" wide rolls at Home Depot and Lowes. Just don't put the stuff overhead, because it doesn't stick as well as the name brand stuff and can come off in hot weather. But, for doors and floors, the stuff works well.
