3 12's?
well my 2 12's have seen there better days..and i am looking into getting 2 12' jl audio w1's but i kinda dont know if it is exactly what i want i may want abit louder...so i was thinking would 3 12's fit in the rear hatch of are cars and have enough air space in the box? my amp can run 3 12' svc's so thats why im kinda curious
and i wont go 10's they have a tight sound and i perfer the 12's for the more boom..for the music i listen to i find its alot better

w1's are lower-end JL subs. Just a question... why not buy one GOOD sub, instead of 3-low end subs?? I just bought a 10" Rockford T1 -- 600w RMS/1200w MAX. Before I had 2 12" BlackCone Eclipses, which were 140w RMS. That one good 10" I bought cost less than the 2 12"s, and it handles significantly more power. Plus, I'll have extra room in my trunk now!
But anyways... to answer your question --- It depends on what sub you decide to get. It's definitely possible, but it just depends, again, on what you get. Narrow it down, visit their websites, and it'll tell you how many cu in you will need. If you're running something like w1's then you're really not gonna need that much airspace.

well see i thought about doing 2 w3's but my amp isnt powerful enough to run 2 dvc subs...its a good amp but its better for svc subs that dont need alot of juice..its a 1600 watt power acoustic amp..but in real watts i know its only probably like 6-700 watts if im lucky..and w3s are 300 a piece but i would rather a better amp for that...and i just dont feel like buying a new amp again...like if i could get a good deal i would like 2 12' w3s and a 1000 jl amp..but in canadian thats like 2gs and i want air ride this year..plus my subs are almost loud enough for me already...so thats why i only want alil more boom

Now that amp will handle to Alpine Type R's quite well and the Type R's are great economically and performing as well.

i gotta agree with ya on that one...my 2 12 wo's worked extremly well..i find as long as you get a good name svc sub or subs and power it very well you would be very suprised how well they work...dvcs you gotta spend alot of cash to perform to there max..im just not one to wanna underpower subs..alot of ppl get like top of the line jls or fosgates or kickers subs..and then stick like a 600 poineer amp on it...

underpowering it may be surprising to you... my dvc audiobahns can only be wired to my amp so that they get 200watts rms.... they handle 400. becasue of my amp and the voice coils on the subs i can only push them half way to the max..... lemme tell you that i have surprised mesefl with these subs

really hmm..ever db test it?
i know sometimes it can work..but some ppl blow subs golore that way and wonder why....but if it works hey right on thats all that counts
i just know i would upgrade to a really good amp to..im just that kinda person..if you go big with one thing you gotta with the other part to make it perform to the max...kinda like rims and tires..well i kinda did a bad thing with the tires before but i just fixed that

you cant blow a sub by underpowering it ,but if you are pushing your amp into clipping you will blow the sub...

From what I've heard Eclipse is a MUCH better brand, and people love them to death... they are very expensive too!

you got bags on your ride, or is it just lowered? look excellent... and I'm thinking of baggin mine, but not modifying the suspension...
I don't want to lay-frame, and our cars can get REALLY low, and also REALLY high with stock travel range.
when I jack up my frame, I can get as much clearance as a ford ranger before my tire comes off the ground.

well i had to grind off abit of the rear bump stops cause whenever you would hit a pot hole it would make a loud banging noise..and my springs are cut..there eibachs but i didnt want no 2' drop..i wanted at least a 3 and i was only 16 at the time all i could afford..im still happy with it..4 years later and it still rides great..most ppl say cut spring blah blah blah crap crap crap..i think if you do a good job with it..it will still be fine, imo i think from my experience

i kinda wish i could lower my car a little bit more than i did. i dont have a visual gap in my wheel well anymore so im happy about that. but i cant lower my bird anymore because i have a solid front end, and theres an underbody thats scoops up air into the radiator to keep it cool that already scrapes unless i take every incline at an angle going up and down it.
so im stuck with a 2" drop. doesnt look bad though. i overall like it especially compared to stock height.

well the older cameros dont have a completely enclosed front piece like the older firebirds do. they still allow air to get inside without having that underbody piece.

you should have plenty of room, there is a guy who has 4 12" audio bahns in a ported box, which requires 1.5 cu ft a sub. I think its a 91.
here is the link
91 camaro with 4 12's
I followed his steps to make my box with 3 10's , very simple. and i've ben on your site a long time ago, seems like your not afraid to do anyhitng complex so give it a shout.
BTW what seats did you use for your car? I got APC suede seats and not to happy with them. seems the seats are sitting way to high,so maybe i just need to re make the brackets
cheers
