Grounding Amp & Stereo Chassis together?

Ok, as the topic is.. Is it at all worth while Grounding Amp & Stereo Chassis together? The RCA's I have, also have a wire running up the middle with it. generally used as a ground between two audio devices. So is there any advantage grounding the cases of the headunit and the sub amp together? Or should I just use the wire as the remote turn on.. I doubt the power running though it for that would cause any 'noise'..

I ran the RCA wires right up the middle of the car.. worked out quite well.. since I'm running the power wires down the passenger side.

Ground is a ground if you ask me. I would just go to the closest clean grounding point you can find. I ran my remote on line inside the same plastic wiring conduct as my RCAs without any problems.

Absolutely can, or could do nothing. If you have ground loop problems that could help straighten them out. If you don't have any ground noise problems it probably will not do anything. You could run the remote down that line. Should have no problems.
