need help on what to get!
i was thinking about getting two 12 in kicker solo baric sub for my camaro and was just wondering if any one tired these subs in their car and how did they sound?

everyone has kickers... if you want a better sub IMO get JL, Adire, RE...etc search on the boards for what ppl are suggesting

Kickers are good if you like loud sloppy bass with no real deep extention.
There are many better choices if you prefer a little sound quality along with your boom.

how does teh adire shiva rate compared to the jlw3v2? the shiva is half the price and would be more in my price range

I can't say that I ever compared them, but I doubt that the JL is *twice* as good as the shiva. 
But... I might be inclined to get an Ascendant Atlas first. It's only a few bucks more than the Shiva and appears to be a considerable improvement.
