Subs where rear seats were
After looking at the post "Post your Rear Seat Deletes!", I removed my rear seats and it seems like a decent place to put a couple of subs. I've seen a couple of pictures where people have done it.
My question is, how would putting the subs behind the seat compare to the sound of subs placed at the back of the hatch? Has anyone else put their subs where their rear seat were and have pics to give me a few ideas?

the general consensus is that subs in the hatch are a million times better then subs where the rear seats are. My friend had one 12 in the back of his RS with a good amp and it was rediculously loud. Bass needs a certain amount of space before its at its best so having it right behind you is not optimal, in the hatch is so perfect.
i'll find out soon.
i had 3 10's in the rear seat facing up towards the glass with proper air space and it wasn't nearly as loud as two of the same in the rear well.
i redesigned everything and now have 2 12's down in where the rear seats use to be with them ported instead of sealed to see what happens. should be finished by next week... i'm hoping that it works out decent as i don't like the look of the subs in the rear area, it's all trial and error. hopefully not too much error.

eh, subs will always sound better/louder as far away as they can possibly be... off the glass or rear-facing is the real question.
