adire has changed their line up, they have varied sizes and you can now choose between DVC 4 ohm and DVC 8 ohm
I picked the 11K. I have never heard a shiva in person but have heard every speaker in the K line and jave had the 8,10 and 12 all in my car at one point and thought they have all sounded very good. They blended very nicley with my existing components and still had the ability to get loud. They also use a pretty small box size which in the back of a 3rd gen is a very good thing. Im in the procees of putting 2 8's ported in my car.

I actually found some CDT 10" subs for 89.99 a piece from the Zeb, they seem like a pretty good deal. I hear CDT is great for Sound Quality
