Who has the best system on here? and how much did it cost you? any pics? Im not talking about 2 subs and a amp screwed on a board, im talking about going all out with custom work using only the best. Has anyone won competitions with there system?

Ive seen a firebird with like 6 subs in it. But they were sony...Though I must say it was a nice concept if they were all the same size and a better brand..But as far as like a all fiberglass dash, doors, a wall with 8 subs or anything I dont think anyone on here is foolish enough to do so....
some guy here (forgot his name) has 2 12" subs in a glassed box with the subs right behind his head, the box is painted w/flames, and stretches back to his "plateau" in the rear.......looks pretty sweet imo, but i don't know how it sounds............

The box is all fiberglass and replaces the back seats. I bought it off of a guy who had it made for his 4th gen Trans Am but sold the car. I'm not trying to say I have the coolest set-up but its different I do like it alot. I'd love to see a picture of your system ddn69.
I can't tell you how it sounds yet because I don't have any subs installed yet. But I plan on putting a set of 12" Alpine Type R's powered by an Alpine amplifier in my box.
Here are a few pics..

Hey Chris, it's nice to see that your box project has come a long way. Good job! Now, is it time for the fender skirts??
hey 82firebird i dont know what people are talking about i really like your setup just because it isnt the most sound acoustic setup in the world who cares i personally think its really cool and i cant wait to see it when it's finished and dont cope out and put alpine type-r in there i think thats what you said you where going to do? put some alpine type x in there becuase for one thing they will look cool with the black and silver combo since the subs are black and not red and silver and there some bad a** subs and i mean bad you will bang on alot of people systems on this site. I dont understand why third gen's flame on other third gen's

Other than the painted Q logic box and painted interior trim panels, I don't really see much about that install that's impressive. It's a prefab box, and the amps are just sitting there.
There are a few of us with "custom" setups, but to my knowledge there's nobody on the board that competes since DJ Sexay left. If you go to www.fbodyaudio.com you'll find a couple guys (DJ Sexay and Jlaine come to mind) who have some very impressive 4th gen stereos.
Someday if I ever get mine done it might look decent, but at the rate I'm going, all of my equipment will be obsolete long before I make any progress.

ya that setup looks nice...
The thing with 82firebird. Your box doesnt match your interior....I think it deff. has alot of potential. But if it suits you thats all that matters...
I dont have a thirdgen anymore and its just a normal wedge style box in a trunk cutlass....
Phoenix amp/Phoenix subs.

old system of mine, I wouldn't say its the best since I never got to do my amp rack, I will have a new nice clean install in about 1-2 weeks. 2 15's ported in fiber glass box painted pearl white.

That looks very good Bones. Very similar to where I originally wanted to go with my install.
