upside down subs

I have a couple of kenwood subs I'm ready to put in my T/A, and was wondering if they can be mounted upside down. I don't know if you can do this with any sub, or if it might damage them?

i believe you can mount any speakers upside down, and it is supposed to sound the same, other than having a tad bit more space in the box, from the speakers not taking up space inside.

i've never been a big fan of kenwood subs though, i love their decks.

make sure that your box is sturdy, and your screws are all in there, and not stripped out, you want that sub mounted well. last thing you need if you get is a wreck or have to hit your brakes hard is the subs flying out

Chances are unless it's a free-air sub you can do it. Just reverse the polarity (the + and -) wires and they will operate in the opposite direction. (This might work even if the subs are free-air subs; though I'm not positive.)
