What does dynamat (and its competition) weigh?

I'm looking into coating my car with this stuff (inside that is lol) and I was wondering... what's it weigh? Say, a door kit or something like that.

Also, I know there are other companies who make the stuff, are they any lighter? Or does it loose it's effect if it's lighter?

Search dynamat and you should come up with a ton of alternatives that will peform the same/better for about a quarter of the cost. As for weight, raam mat weighs .4 lbs/sq ft
