Opinion on some speakers
Anyone ever heard of Powerbass?
...know if its decent stuff...im replacing all the stock speakers in my 89 Iroc w/ them...thought everything looked decent and I got a super deal.

I have never heard of it so it's probably not the greatest but alot of those types of name brands have great sound and can be very good speakers give them a try and let us know how they work out for you!

Powerbass is one of those companies that doesn't have the huge sort of following that JL or Rockford has, but seems to have quite a nice niche market that keeps them going. Because they're somewhat hard to find, I've never heard them, but I think that their stuff should be decent.

powerbass makes some good stuff, especially the pbx woofers. you can find a lot more info about them here.

Powerbass speakers sound very good. A buddy of mine put some 6x9 powerbass speakers in his rear deck of his Buick and they sounded very clean and could do a great job producing the low notes. Good choice in my opinion. I use Eclipse and MB Quart and they haven't let me down yet.
