Suggestions for my audio system?
My audio system consitsts of the 4 basic stock type speakers and the stock Cassette/FM/AM Deck. I want to keep the original look of everything, but i hate having my console full of cassette tapes. I'm looking for something more space efficient. Is there some kind of MP3 player that i can hide somewhere and play throught the stock Audio system?...I really didn't want to "Hide" a cd player under the dasj because then I'd have to stick my head under it to swich it on/off and tune the radio stations and things like that...is there anything i can do to have my 250-300 songs play through my system and keep my stock deck?

Kenwood used to make a peice called a music keg. You can use it with thier Cd changer controller / FM modulator. Theres also a product on the market called a audio jukebox?? (I think thats the name) Rockford also has Omnifi. It uses 802.11g wireless to send sound from your house to your car while its in the driveway.
Personally all of these through a stock deck sound like crap. Look into buying a mp3 capable deck. Most people will argue that it sounds "ok". IMO, "ok" is good enough for the guy next door, not me.

Why not upgrade to a later model delco CD player? It will keep the stock look and provide CD playback but it's not going to help you with your tape collection that much. Sure you will be able to burn CD mixes but you're still going to be carrying around a decent amount of plastic.
As lockchad said, your best bet is to buy an aftermarket deck that's mp3 compatible if you really want to cut back on how much stuff you're carrying around in the car.
No pressure one way or another because this won't effect me one way or another but at least a later model delco will sound better than what you have in your car currently.
