RE: stereo system....

You really need to come up with a budget of what yer willing to spend. Also, how did you 'blow your sub'? with an old crappy set-up? Lastly; what are your wiriing/install abilities? Are you going to run all new cables....ect.
(crappy old system is what I'm thinking you were attempting to describe-could you post what the head unit and speakers actually are??)Nitro

I am setting a budget of hopefully under 400 i wont go over 500. My old system was an Alpine head unit from like 1995, stock dash speakers, pioneer 6.5 4-ways, legacy 600 watt amp, and a kicker comp 10, with all scosche max 1200 watt wiring.
I have all the wiring in the car already which i have a lot of experience doing. I dont need to worry about cables, my installing capabilities are not limited at all. I blew my sub b/c i decided to bridge my max 300 watt kicker so that it would be putting out 600 watts and it got messed up, i fixed it but am selling it to my friend. I want new dash speakers I am getting a pioneer head unit tomorow for free which is brand new and regular $220. I am keeping my pioneer 6.5's but want a new amp and subs.
i am probly going with infinity dash speakers and subs. I need more suggestions first
