Eclipse?
I'm looking at installing a better system in the bird. I have a local shop that sells Eclipse, and since I have had one of their products before, I would like to use some more of their products.
Starting at the front, I will be using an Eclipse CD-3492 (I think that's what it is, it's last year's 34XX series) or the new CD-3000 (50Wx4, CD/MP3, 5V preamp). I will also be buying the 21010 crossover (5-band) to tone down my front speakers (the highs are too high for ALL of the speakers I've tried). At the back, I am planning on running their XA1000 subwoofer amplifier (640W peak, 480W@2ohm RMS, 320W@4ohm sub channel). Now, as for subs, I am currently looking at a pair of their SW4000 or 4200 subs. The 4k's are 10" (200W RMS, 600 peak, requires 1.25 Ft air space), and the 4200's are 12" (250W RMS, 750 peak, requires 2.75 Ft air space). However, the sub box I am planning only has room for two tens unless I modify the design (and make it harder to build). Does anyone recommend anything different? I have yet to decide on 4x6"s and 6x9"s, which I will also upgrade. I need the 6x9's to have a decent bass kick (assuming I stuff the factory boxes with polyfill) since I will be removing the system when I return to school next fall (got broken into once, not letting that happen AGAIN! ).
I am NOT looking to spend $3k on a system, BTW, so no Infinity Kappa plates or anything like that.

Just a correction on the above post:
The other headunit I am considering is the CD-5435. I don't know the specs on this as of this moment.
Still looking for suggestions...
