So is this any good?

Scored this outta a camaro in the junkyard today...cant really complain if its good or not for $25

Appears to fit 2 10" subs with mounting hardware for an amp on top.

Is this something homemade or aftermarket bought? How can i tell? And lastly would this worth using or selling on ebay...?

I dont have subs YET. But have been very close to buying a setup and then i came along this today.

Let me know whatcha guys think!

ya it does look like someone made it but hey if it works then keep it. $25 is a good deal for a box. if not, just fix it up a lil bit and sell it. people would easily pay $75-$100 for one of those boxes

what im kinda curious about is like how a sub will fit in well, it fits 10" subs but it looks like the back of the sub would hit the box when placed in?

depends on the depth of the sub or how large the magnet is.. many subs will fit into that box, many won't.

to me that box looks home made or a quick box done by a stereo shop.. heck I've seen much worse from 'professional stereo installers'

If you wanted subs this would be a great start, you couldn't buy the wood for what you paid. That would be a great starter box, seriously. Buy the best subs you can afford, and if need be, modify the box; Peel off the carpet and remove the top panel of wood. (Its hard to tell from the pics, but once the top panel is off, I'd cut a divider and secure it into the middle of the box to create to equal areas of air space) Then cut out a new piece of wood for the top and mount the subs closer together so you have plenty of depth below the magnet. Paint/gelcoat/re-carpet the top and your ready to go (other then wiring an amp/crossover). volia.

At least, thats what I'd do if I had that box sitting in front of me..

it should really be a problem with 10's. not too many 10" subs have that big of a magnet. if the box was made for 12's or 15's then ya it would be a problem.

i built a box that was similar to that with the sides being shallow and when i tried to put my 12" L5 in it hit the bottom of the wood so i had to modify and make up for the 2 extra inches is stuck out

You can make that box work for two 12's and you won't have to invert the subs. Just peel away the existing fabric and reupholster the box. There doesn't appear to be any rotting so it should hold up to pressure. Depending on the subs, you may want to add a slot port to vent the coils.
