Hmmmm, what to do for a box...
Well i was down at crappy tire today and found a pair of these on sale dirt cheap so i picked them up...
Pioneer 10" IMPP sub. 600w max, 120w RMS
Shouldnt be too bad for my purposes, i dont need it loud enough to pop my head (thats what my old system was for) just something that hits decent.
Now im sure someone has to be using these sub, and im just wondering if i should go with a ported box or sealed.
And for any of you engineer types...
Pio recommends a 1cu.ft sealed box or a 1.1cu.ft w/ 3"x6" port.
If i put both subs in a 2.2cu.ft box, i would use 2 of them 3"x6" ports or should i do it differently?
or what about putting my old 12" sony in the middle and the 10s on either side? but i dont think i could make to bex big enough...

............
Well for now i just made a board to fit in the well...
I have the amp in the well along with some pillows to take up some of the space since its alot larger than the 2.2cuft i need.
To my surprise it actually sounds half decent for a pair of cheap subs.
It sounds better than the 12" i had on a board in the well and even sounds better than the 12" and 15" that i had sitting in the back seat before.
Next weekends project will be building a proper box, but i dont think they can sound much better than they do now!

WTF! Sorry bud, but a plate like you have cant hold a candle to a proper box. here are the specs for a good box that someone posted in a different thread.
