After searching the boards I haven't found an answer to my problem. I put a used power antenna in my fiance's '88 GTA and it worked about 3 times, now it stuck down and doesn't move. I can hear the relay click when you power on the radio and I think I hear the antenna make a "clunk" but can't be sure until I have someone listen by it. Any ideas?

 

Quite often it is the nylon gear that meshes with a nylon "cable" that breaks (wears-out), making the antenna inoperable. They make rebuild kits for these antennas but I'm not sure how to go about it since I've not yet had to conduct this repair yet.
