Stereo Delete Panel

Does anyone have pics of one of these? I won't be running a stereo in my car so I want to cover the hole up with something custom and maybe put switchs into it or something. Anyone?

i made these. the camaro one was for a friend of mine who likes the "optionless" look. the firebird one is currently in my V6 car. it has no radio at all. you could add switches or guages to this easy.

For what they cost, I wouldn't bother making one, but if you were to make one out of ABS, I'd turn it around so that the smooth side is showing, and I'd hit it with some Landau Black SEM interior paint so that it'll look as close to the factory piece as possible.

my brother bout a big sheed of it for 5$ from a supply store. it was labled as "automotive interior plastic". i cut it with a dremmel tool and used JB weld to glue it in. i had all the parts and supplies on hand, so it cost me nothing.

I love the stuff. Use it all the time for project enclosures. You can even heat it and get nice smooth bends.

I built a sizable percentage of my monitor housing with that stuff. Once you learn how to bend it, the possibilities are endless.

Parts Express is where I buy mine, but it's the same stuff no matter where you buy from.

Any retail stores carry this stuff or would I have to buy it online?

for as small of a piece that you need, you could probably snag it at your local custom car audio shop, or a craft store.
