Im looking for the round peice the sub gets mounted to its maybe 3-4 inches thick you always see them on fiberglass box's, it has roughly a 30 angle on it?

I know you can mold them from fiberglass but do they sell them made from MDF board or the only was is to custom make it yourself out of fiberglass?

And if that is the only way how would you go about making that mold?

I just make them myself out of 3/4in MDF. Just make a circle with a diameter so that the sub will fit down in it then make another circle with a diameter a few inches larger

yes i am talking about the MDF rings. I know i can make them myself and i have everything i need to do it but i dont want to make them. Its easier to just buy them i dont have enough free time to make them myself.

I understand they are kinda a pain to make, but I have looked all over the internet for them before and have found nothing. If anyone else knows of a place that sells them I would like to know too.

You can buy them for ~ $40 a pop, which is why I decided to just make my own rather than spend $80 on two MDF rings I could make myself for less than $10. Jim85Iroc will make them last I heard as well companies like Elemental Designs. Send Jim a pm and/or call ED and I'm sure one of the two will be happy to accommodate you.

ya I think the MOST I would pay for 1 is $10, probobly not even that.

Exactly why I made my own Note that the $40/pop price is for a two-layer flush mount ring. I'm sure a normal ring would be cheaper but still well over $10.
