Is my electrical system up to the challenge?
Alright, SOOOO much info to sift through via the search. Some questions answered, other's left wide open!!!!! (so bare with me)
In a nutshell, the plan is to run a 80w x 4 amp to aftermarket "stock" location speakers, and a 200w x 1 to a single sealed 10" sub. Nothing crazy, I just want good sound, and I want to show off a nice show quality install.
I've planned on doing the "BIG 3" underhood wiring upgrades, and I have a brand new 105amp alternator, and a 2 month old Optima red top. The only non-OE electrical equipment on the car is the MSD-6A
So am I good? Do I need a bigger alternator? Any feedback?

Re: Is my electrical system up to the challenge?
hell i havent even done the big 3 and i am running 1200.1 amp to 2 10's 600rms each , a 50x4 running my 6x9's and 4x6's and soon getting a pair of 5.25 comp speakers in kicks thats going to delete my 6x9's
i havnt needed the big 3 , should i ? hell it wouldn't hurt , but it costs more and why spend it if i dont need it
i am running a dual 0 guage kit , its over kill but i got it at a damn good price so i used it

Re: Is my electrical system up to the challenge?
I'm still using the stock 105 amp alternator, and charging 2 batteries with it. I have no problems with it so far, even powering a Memphis Belle 1400 watt 5 channel amp. Big 3 helps, mine is all 4 AWG.
As soon as I replace the tensioner pulley on my engine, I have a 140 amp alternator to put in. My belt slips on the alternator occasionally now, and the new alternator has a slightly smaller pulley on it, and will slip worse.

I'd recommend two deviations from your plan, ditch the factory dash locations and go with a set of kick panels and a set of components up front and lose the 6x9s and go with a set of 6.5" on plates for the side panels.

Re: Is my electrical system up to the challenge?
I know some are going to argue but in my case with the subs in the back for the low bass the 6.5s do a better job of producing the mid bass to mid range frequencies plus if you bridge the two rear channels of your 4 channel amp and wire the 6.5" speakers in series to produce an 8 ohm load they work great as a rear fill setup since the components will be providing your front stage.

some people say to just get rid of the rear fill and use 4x6's and 5's or 6.5 comps in kick pannels , but the 6.5's in the back would sound better for the simple fact there a rounde speaker not oval shaped have better things to work with
