rear speakers not working

My telescoping antenna has a problem and is stuck in the up position.
My dad disconnected the wire that goes to it, but now the subs dont work when you hit the music button on the dash.
Does the fender have to be removed for the antenna to be fixed, and if so, is there another way to wire the subs so that they work when I hit the button?
He said that the problem is not the antenna motor, it is a cable or something.
Easy fix?

Re: rear speakers not working

pleae take out your radio again and check your wiring , make sure all connections for your pre outs are good

and for the antenna i dont think the fender has to come off and i dont think its that hard it might just be a wiring running from fender to firewall to dash some were , i havnt realy looked tho
