Firebird Kick Panels

I'm replacing the factory radio and speakers with a Pioneer outfit. The head is a DEH-P77DH and I'm using TS-A6962R for the rears and TS-G4641R for the dash. Found what fit at Cruthfield and purchased elsewhere. Supposedly, I've read that the Pioneer's should fit without having to do the heat gun mod for the dash.

Anyway, I digress. I also purchased some TS-G1641R's 6.5" for either the doors or kicks. I've got power windows and I don't think the door option will work. I saw the Q-Logic kicks but have read here that they are crap. So, what are my choices for aftermarket kicks? My kick panels are carpeted and I would like to keep it that way if possible. Looks like many of you build your own. I'm not at that level and won't even try it. So, if there is anything else out there, I would be happy to know more. Otherwise, I may just return these.

Re: Firebird Kick Panels

you need to go to an audio shop and ask them to make you a pair and expect it to cost a pretty penny the q logic 6.5's for our cars need to be trimmed to fit any way you were better off buying 5.25's and having an audio shop slap on some more fiber glass to it to strengthen it up

Re: Firebird Kick Panels

I have a set of custom kick panels for sale. These were made by another member on this board. Full custom fiberglass, covered in grey vinyl. Much better than options from Q-Logic IMO.

They're listed in the classified. A Direct link doesn't seem to work.
