Need wiring help asap
Alright I'll just start at the beginning. Yesterday I got my new stereo its an Alpine 9847. I was doing all the prep work yesterday splicing the wires and by accident I touched the positive and negative wires, yellow and black. I thought nothing of it because it's happened before. Today I hooked everything up and got no power to the stereo. So I take it apart and detach the stereo harness from the car harness. I use a battery tester to see that i'm getting power from the car harness and I was. I did this by putting two wires into the negative ground and positive power slots and then using a battery tester on the buzz setting and get a loud buzz. I then had the bright idea of again touching the wires. Dont ask why I did this. So I did that got a spark and thought ok I have power. I hook up the battery tester again and dont get as much of a buzz this time, I then proceed to say O ****. I check all the fuses and see that i've burnt out the radio fuse. I replace that and retest but still get an almost inaudible buzz and when I cross the wires now I dont get any spark. And thats where I am right now.
I know I screwed up, I'm not the greatest with hooking up car stereos but what exactly do you guys think is wrong now? Did I fry the wires? I've checked all the fuses and they are all fine. I'm concerned now that I might have to replace my car harness and all the wiring inside now.

ok calm down. u dont have to replace anything yes the wires may be fried but u can hard wire the radio. Take and run a constant from a source which has power(constant power),then run a wire to the ignition wire(for the ability to turn the radio on and off with the ignition. and ground a wire to the chasis behind the pocket. You may wanna check if ur speaker wires are good just take a cordless drill battery and touch the speaker wires to the battery and look for the speaker to move!!

First thing you did wrong: worked on car with the battery still connected.
Second thing: touched the positive and negative wires together.
You didn't fry your wiring, you blew a fuse. Get the proper tools (a voltage meter) and measure the voltage at the 12V wire that would connect to the radio. If you don't have power then find the blown fuse.
