need help

aight i have an 88 camaro that came with bose system,when i bought the car these 2 cables wasn't connected to anything except to the factory amp in the back..and my front speakes does not work at all would have a anything to do with it??

here the cables im talking about

one is coming from amp coming on the driver side




the second one also connected to the factory amp in the back running along the passengers side..

Looks like an old car/cell phone insall. You certain that was the factory Bose amp and not old 4W car/cell phone? You know the type. If so they like to install relays into the front speakers and use them with the phone when needed than cut back to the radio when done. Did the front speakers stop working when you discontled this box or where they alway not working? If thats what it is, it was a high end install. Realy at this point just pull the dash pad off, see what's under there, and just run new wire down to the HU if needed and call it done.

it was unhook when i bought it.but the hatch speakers work,i do get a buzz sound from the front speakers but it will go away in a couple of mins..

i did take the h/u out a couple times to see if there was any problem there but its all good.some reason it not getting any single from the hu.i do know the speakers plays fine..

Take the front speakers out and wire them right to HU, if they work is something in the wiring and just run new wires. If it's still bad and your certain the speakers are good, then it sound like someings up with the HU.

yeah i just run wire straight to the speakers and they work perfect.
