Display is broked!
heh, I got a Sony Xplod deck for christmas a couple years ago, and never installed it until recently. ( CDX GT110 ) Anywho, the display doesn't work. The backlight comes on and there is a weird symbol in the right side corner. Is there a way to reset it or did I do something wrong?

Re: Display is broked!
yea thats no help to the man, you might as well leave no comment if you are going to be an a** to him, heck he just installed it.....but anyway, look arond on it, maybe behind the face plate or on the back there should be a pen sized button, pus it with an ink pen.......or disconnect it for an hour, if you got the book for it call Sonys tech line, companys can be real helpfull and you may get more help than you expect, if you dont have the book do a Yahoo serch for sony explode or what not

Yeah I would have returned if if I knew it was junk a year ago. And I tried that reset button many times, nothing works
Thx anyways.

Is this a removable face deck?
If so, make sure the contacts on the deck and the faceplate are clean and making good contact with each other. Sometimes, that will cause odd things to appear on the faceplate.
