system setup questions

ok so I took the system out of my TA and am stickin it in my daily car which is a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon

I have:
a pair of sony 10" 1080 watt peak power sub woofers
a SPL Series 2 ZSX-820 820 watt bridgeable amp
JVC KD-S590 head unit
power cable with fuse
line out cables

Other than some speaker wire is there anything else i would need? what i did was just take everything out of the TA minus the speaker wire. Also, is there a part I would need to use the original head unit? Or would it be best to get one that would fit in the space? Would it be a good idea to get another battery to stick in the back? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Re: system setup questions

you need a line out converter to make the factory radio work, a good one won't be cheap, and a cheap one sounds like crap, I prefer the new radio when possible (that's me though) an extra battery is just another load on the electrical system, and only helps with key off run time. A kit for the JVC is pretty cheap, you'll also need a harness for the radio

Re: system setup questions

I'd prefer the new HU too but im just worried that ill have a hard time getting it to fit flush. The Tiburon has a CD and tape deck and the whole thing is like 3x as big as the JVC. I've heard something about a dash kit? If anyone knows about those?

yea a dash install kit, you should be able to get them at any audio store around you. Its easy, the radio slips in the hole then you clip it into place and then you done.
