navigation to big screen?

navigation to big screen?

i have a double din for my maro. but i didnt come with navigation. so if i buy a portable navigation system, can i wire it up to show on my screen on my double din? i know it can be done, but how......

If it can be done, let me know, because I haven't seen anyway to do it, the only sort of exception is with Alpine and thier Blackbird, that uses a docking station (or the newer version that slides into the W205).

I have not seen any portable nav system with video outputs.

probaly have to take it apart and connect some wires... im going to check into it.

I'm sure you'll find that it will be a wee bit more involved than that. Most LCD screens have a driver circuit that is not easily tapped into, much like a laptop LCD screen driver circuit.

if it were still stock it would be 1.5 din, but we've change that and fit in a double din.
