Ok.. as a "graduation" present for getting my GED i am getting $900 from savings bonds.. i really wanna put racing seats (or 4th gen seats) in.. and do it as cheap as possible.. and i'm looking to dump in maybe $400 at most into a system.. what should i get?.. i've got a speaker box for 2 10 inch subs.. my speakers are all stock right now.. and i have an alpine deck.. what should i do just to get better sound... and somewhat hard hitting bass.. (i listen to mostly country and rap.. and some rock)

i have an alpine CDA 9855, with pioneer 4 way speakers all the way around, and two rockford fosgate p2 10" subs with a small 600 watt amp, it sounds great, everyone that rides in it says it sounds good, no rattles or anything, but i do have real fine tune audio settings on that radio, built in crossover and time correction, it takes alot of time to set up the radio if you ever lose batttery connection

the thing i can reconmend is good speakers in the dash and sail pannels and have something soft between the speaker and the mount, i used a dynamatt type meteral cut out to look like a gasket

it takes alot of tuning to get it to hit right, you need to actually read the owners manual in your radio and set your amp up right

i mainly listen to country and rock

 

about how much did you spend all around?(minus the deck)

 

umm about $180 for the speakers, the subs and amp and box i got for only $120, LOL someone needed money real bad, the head unit was $500

i had a friend that got roadmaster speakers from wally world, they were $23 a pair, and they sounded good, actually real good, lol, i put them in my satty and my old beater van and people think they both have high quality speakers.....if only some of them knew how little i spent on them

but the camaro does sound better
