satellite tweeters

I've read on here guys that have remote mount tweeters in the pillars or other places , my question is : is it worth the effort or does it just make a small improvement ( hardly noticeable ) ?
How much power do they require : if a tweeter is rated for 150 watts rms can you really notice a difference if it only get 75 watts ?

Re: satellite tweeters

I was going with 6.5 kappas in the kick and sail panels w/ 4x6 plates in the dash but I thought I would add two tweets on the front lip of the head liner on that angle part where it tucks up to the t-top .
Does anyone know if the crossover needs to be within so many inches or feet of the tweeter ?
