Question
Question
Ok I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer too.
Here is what I have. 1995 Ford Explorer with a 2 channel Sony Xplod 1000w amp, 2 p2 Rockford subs in a rockford box, 2 pairs of 6 x 8 pioneer 3 way speakers and a sony xplod deck..
Here is what I want to do, I want to get another matching amp so that I can have an amp for each sub, and also want to have another amp and have 4 more speakers going off of it, but the power I have is that I don't know how to set up multi amps very good for that high of power
Anyone wanna give me some advice? Would be much help

Re: Question
completley honest with you if you have the pioneer speakers that im thinking u have (cost roughly 40-80 for each pair) they cant really handle too much power but if u got like a 400 watt 4ch amp and just get another of the same amp for the sub if thats what you want. or you could get one bigger sub amp that isnt a sony. but you would probably get better advice on fords (because no chevy ever used a 6x8) if you joined a forum for fords not gms.
