Stock radio losing memory.

I have a stock factory 1991 radio for my '91 Camaro. Every few days or so, it wants to lose the staions in memory. I can't see a bad fuse because it would either keep the memory or not at all. Power drain does'nt seem likely because the car starts fine. Anyone run into this?

Ken

Re: Stock radio losing memory.

pull the radio and check the orange wire for constant 12v... this is your constant wire which will maintain your radio presets... since this isnt a situation where you lose them every time you shut off, it may be harder to test.. I would suggest running a new wire to a fused 12v constant source and see if the problem persists... if it does, then it is the radio itself.
