AWSOME FIND (i think anyway)
Made a run out to the JY Friday to see if there was any more f-bodies added since the last time I was out there and spotted a GMC Envoy that had become a convertable during its wreack. Well it had a Sony CDX-GT710 still in it and it looked like the rain hadn't got to it so I asked how much they wanted for it and he told me $40. Got it home and hooked it up just to the battery and it turned on and all but the mode button worked. Took the face plate apart and cleaned the broken glass out of it and got it installed tonight. Turns out everything works like new, even the aux input jack on the front.

very nice find!...but $40 is a bit much for a jk stereo...I got my current unit off ebay, I have an CDX-MP30, I had been looking for a red-backlit unit for a long time so it would match my stock gauges...

Re: AWSOME FIND (i think anyway)
I thought it was a good find since the manufacture label on it said it was made in June 07 and after looking it up on the internet I saw that it was $139-$199 new. This one has selectable red or blue buttons. Down side is that I think I gotta update my tweeters.

Always cool to find a good head unit in the bone yard. I've gotten quite a few, cleaned em up, and resold them on ebay.
