Static coming from speakers
Well I finished my install today, alpine 6x9 type r's in the sails, 5.25 kicker components in the kicks powered by a 4 channel kicker amp. It sounds great but i am getting static coming from all the speakers. I checked my ground and it seems fine, all the wires are secure, i just dont know why i am getting this static, i tried searching but didnt come up w/ anything... plz help guys

RCA's are all on the drivers side, power on passengers side, do u think it could be my ground? i thought i had a good ground

im having the same problem but mine started when a hooked up my sub. with just my amp and speakers i never had this problem. the sound changes with the engine speed.

As for aceman1, that's called ground loop interference. You can probably eliminate it by running a single wire from the chassis of the head unit, to the case of the amplifier. A lot of RCAs have an extra wire in the middle, and everyone thinks it's for the remote lead. It's not, it's for just this purpose.
BMAN90RS, Do you have the same symptom? Does the static go up with engine speed? If so, try the same remedy. When you say static though, I don't think that's your problem. Is it intermittent, like only when the car is running, or does it do it whether running or not?
If it does it all the time, my first choice would be to move the ground for the amplifiers. Make your own new hole, don't use an existing bolt or screw, and sand/scrape the area around the new hole you make. An area about the size of a quarter should be plenty.
