Tweeters

Okay, i dont want to hook up an amplifier in my car to have tweeters so can i split the speaker wires that go to the regular speakers and run them to both the speaker and the tweeter? will it be enough power for the tweeter and speaker or what? what do you guys suggest?

Yet again, im a bit so i think of wierd things. If yall need any wierd thoughts for car audio hit me up :P

You can take the speaker wire and hook it up to a set of crossovers, which would separate the highs and the lows and send them to the tweeters and speakers, but I don't know how it would sound without an amp supplying more power.

Actually, now that I think of it, there are a couple of companies that make 4x6 plates with a separate woofer and tweeter. Also, the 4x6 speakers don't even need much power. From the top of my head I think Pioneer, Infinity, and Boston Acoustics make them. Check out this link for an example.
