Orange wire?

I seem to be missing the cont. power wire, and was curious as to how I can wire up a new one? I have searched back in the dash and there just isn't one anywhere. I can't stand having a stereo that resets everytime I turn the car off, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Orange wire?

You could run a new wire from a battery source at the fuse panel, or possibly splice into the wire that feeds the cigarette lighter. I believe that's continous power (double check first), plus it's closer to the headunit's location.

Re: Orange wire?

I ended up running a wire from the fuse panel Battery Accessory terminal with a male connector and put in a 20 amp fuse. Works now! Thanks for the help
