How do I...

Get to the right front speaker on a 1987 Camaro IROC-Z? The speaker is cracking and is done. How do I get into that speaker?

Re: How do I...

Take the dash pad bolts off that are under it's lip and the bolts by the AC vest on top of the dash. I think they're 7mm but I could be wrong. Then the speakers are bolted in and mounted in a brackets. only two bolts hold these it I think.

Re: How do I...

its really simple...the only bolts that remotely difficult to remove are the one's near the windshield where the vents are because its hard to maneuver your hand around that area..a set of extensions and a ratchet make it easier...once your dash pad is off youll see both of your speakers

Re: How do I...

very simple. get ur 6-8 metric screwdriver don't remember the size (just did this 2 days ago) and theres like 4 bolts by the windshield and all the others on the dash up front that you gotta unscrew. Don't need to unscrew the bolts by the vents as those are vent bolts.

I think its a 7 metric ... If I am not mistaken I also did this about a few months back. Don't have extra screws at the end like I did also!!!
