I sear I'm not advertising for anyone, I was looking for myself but ended up buying an Alpine. Just giving a heads up.

The 4th Gen Delco Cd players usually go for $125+, this one is up for sale for $70.00. Hope it helps someone.

There's were I got the idea from. It looks like it would work, only problem is your Firebird has red interior lights, this Chevy radio has green/blueish lights.

I'd look for a 4th Gen Firebird/TA radio for your 89 Fireird.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I've had a 98 Firebird with a Monsoon radio since 2000 and I'm not too fond of the way it looks but I've kept it over the years 'cause I don't want to loose my steering wheel controls.

Re: Cheap 97-02 Camaro Delco/CD
Does anyone know if there's a way to make these 4th gen radio CD players tune European FM frequencies such as 92.4 or 100.8? An overseas friend of mine is looking for one but he doesn't want to buy a player than can only tune American stations, all of them ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5 or 9).

Many thanks in advance.
