What is this wire by the fuse box???

84 camaro v6 just started working on it, got it cheap a year ago. This is one of the only wires not plugged in, what is it? None of the gauges work right, the only gauge that works is my fuel gauge. Is this wire related to any of the gauge wiring??

It looks like orange(+) and white(door-) wires leading to it. It looks like an interior light socket.

Interior light socket is exactly what that is. There should be another harness connector nearby that one that that one slides into. Then your interior lights should work when you open the doors.
