My sound system, and I can store my t-tops
I'll get pics when I finish it all.. but got a box i modified small enough to fit on top of the gas tank area and clear the window with a little room to spare... holds 2 10" Memphis M-class subs (200w rms/400watt max 4 ohm).
Attached to those is a cheapy visonik amp (400x2 max @ 4ohm) .. but an amp is an amp and it was too cheap to say no.
Up front is a pioneer dehp-47dh (1.5din) stereo w/cd... i hooked up a cable for RCA input in the IP-BUS port so I can play my mp3 player.
No-name brand 3-way 6 x 9's that came in the car
Infinity Reference 2-way 4x6's up front
Should make for some nice cruising music with the tops off and the 3" exhaust rumbling

Re: My sound system, and I can store my t-tops
Theres an easier (and cheaper) way to mount subs and still retain the space to store the t-tops. The pic is from my install. All it is is a piece of 1/2 mdf carpeted and mounted on the protrusions on the side of the well. Ive got 2 10" JBL's , 2 amps (one pictured running interioirs, and a second one mounted under the subs powering them). This setup hits pretty hard without having to do a bunch of custom fab work for a box. I used to have the amp mounted were the cap is now, but vibration from the subs was tripping the amp and shutting it off. The hardest parts of building the board was contouring it to the rear plastic, but i just did that for looks, it didnt change the sound quality at all. Also youll need to notch the front right corner since theres a piece of metal angled under the carpet and it was easier to notch the board than cut out the metal bracket. You can see the notch if you look right above the cap and to the right. And I do notice that my cap isnt hooked up in the pic, i had to unhook it because it was draining my battery (car has been parked for about a month and a half due to snow and ice).
