Hey whats up? I tried searching for a thread with the diagrams for installing a head unit. So if any has the thread link or photos of the diagram would be most helpful. Thanks and take care thirdgen folks

Check in the tech tips section.There's a good walkthrough there.
Just put a new Pioneer HU and speakers in the T/A.

buy a harness (8 bucks at wally world or you could spend 20 elsewhere)and just match colors...or you could hack up your factory harness. if your choice is the latter post the year of your car and ill get u your info

Don't hack up the factory harness. You will be asking for trouble in the long run. Get the adapter from wally world and do it right. If you are installing a pioneer Head unit the wiring adapter is the same color code as the pioneer wires. Cutting up the factory harness is something I highly not recommend doing. That's the quickest way to shorts and other problems. The wires are very brittle on our 20 odd year old cars.

If your do cut it up for whatever reason. 3rd Gen cars are one of the easiest to install an aftermarket radio in.

Switched 12V+ - Yellow

Antenna Trigger - Pink
Antenna Right - Rear
Dash Speakers - 4x6
